In Sims 4, Do Homework with Fun and Creativity and Impress Your Teachers

There are actually a few hacks you should know to get your sims to have more fun when doing homework, get it done quicker, and just generally finish it in a timely fashion that will make you a better sims player.

in sims 4 how do you do homework

You can get your sims to start doing their homework by clicking on the homework book in their inventory and choosing do homework. Your sims will find the nearest place to sit (even on the ground) to start working on their homework and will work until they are finished unless they are interrupted by low needs or an event trigger like a fire.

Any adult can come over to this sim while they are doing their homework and you can choose help with homework which will get the adult involved and sitting with the child and they will get their homework done much quicker.

Getting these skills all to level 7 will give them the option to dominate homework which will get it done even more quickly. This is a nice hack to really finish it without it being a huge part of their day.

With the 2019 addition of The Sims 4: Discover University we have a whole new type of homework for your sims to have to work on. These homework books are going to be a black and white composite notebook that will appear in your sims inventory when they enroll in their first semester of university.

I am currently playing with the Price family in Copperdale and I am having the darndest time getting the one or two, usually Sidney and/or Savannah to do their homework. It's not that they don't have homework to do, they do, but it's just not available to do. I don't know what happened. I follow them to school, so maybe that has something to do with it?

@FreeToBeMae In the sims personal inventory there should be a blue book. Select it and click "do homework". If your sim doesn't have the book, go to the bookshelf or computer - purchase books - homework books (or children's books).

I apologize, I don't think that I explained this correctly. I tend to do that sometimes. So there are three teens in the one household, only one of of the three has the option to do homework. All of them have homework books (the blue ones). If you'll look at all three pictures, you will see a difference. So for Kevin, in this example, he has the option to do homework while Sidney does not. Here is the difficult part that I'm having trouble explaining: So when I click on Kevin's homework book, he has the option to do homework, Add To Favorite, and put his homework into the world. While when I click on Sidney's homework book, he does not have the option to do homework. Instead he only has two options: to "Add To Favorites" or "Put In World". Savannah is having the same problem as Sidney. I have no clue why this is happening. and day-to-day It's usually random. The day before Savannah had access to do her homework, but today she doesn't. They do go to high school in person, so I'm not sure if it has anything to do with that. I've tried to buy more homework books and replace homework books they had (the blue ones), I've also tried putting their homework out in world and it won't let me do it whether inside or outside my personal inventory. But nothing has worked so far. Let me know if you need more information or more pictures.

Just like in the real world, doing homework is an important part of your Sim's education. And while it's entirely optional, if you want the best for your teen Sim, it's something you should get in the habit of doing. Parties and hanging out can wait, after all...even if your Sim really wants to sneak out and meet up with their friends.

Every day, your Sim will have a daily task to "Do Homework," which will be available at the end of each school day. You'll see it in the career tab for each teen Sim you have in your brood. But how do you do homework in The Sims 4 High School Years? It isn't immediately obvious.

To get your Sim to start doing homework, you need to check their personal inventory. Look for a blue book with some white text on it. That's their school textbook. They may have similar books there as well. If you hover over the item and see "Do Homework," you can get your Sim to complete their assignments for the day. They'll even move to a table to dig in and do their best.

There aren't any real consequences for not doing homework, unlike in the real world. But your Sim will get lower grades, and they won't do the best they possibly can. They'll still make progress in their career, but they'll do it at a slower rate. If you want a Sim you can be proud of who gets straight As, however, you're going to want to make sure they study and do their homework.

The most likely reason why your sim lost their homework is that they finished their work and dropped the book somewhere. Instead of placing it inside their inventory, they often drop it onto the floor or a nearby surface and walk away to perform other actions. With this in mind, you can look around your immediate surroundings to see if you can find the homework book on the ground or on a table.

As your sim children and teens age up-they'll automatically receive homework in their inventories. Children receive yellow 'Grade School Homework' and teens receive blue 'Homework' books. The homework is individual to each sim, sims cannot do other sim's homework for them. If you lose the book around the neighbourhood, you can purchase another set of homework for your child through the 'buy books' menu on a bookcase or PC.

To do homework simply click on it in your inventory and select 'Do Homework'. The activity will take longer if your sim is in a bad mood. You can speed up the interaction if you get an adult sim to 'Help with Homework' by interacting with the sim whilst it is working. After completing the homework, you can interact with it again to complete 'Extra Credit Homework' for additional gain.

Doing Homework is an easy way of ensuring your child improves their grades. School works in a very similar way to sim careers in the fact that homework acts as an extra activity you can do to boost performance.

My sim made the mistake of taking four classes her first time in university. As she approaches the end of the semester she doesn't have enough time to do her final paper, final presentation, and all of her homework too. Do you have to do the homework before the final task of each class? Something's gotta give cuz my girl needs sleep lol

@RandyMandy27, It is best to do everything, but if you can't then I would certainly do the final paper, or final presentation over the last bit of homework. Same goes for studying for a final test if your Sim has a class with that instead of a paper or presentation! I always choose the big projects over the last little bit of homework if I run out of time (just like in real life). However, in the future try to do all the homework assignments too. The Research and Debate skill will help learn things faster but if you don't have time to learn that as well, I usually do as much of my preparation for the presentations and the writing of the final papers, as well as studying for the final tests in the Library that is located between each university as it has the Study Spot lot trait that is really helpful in getting your work done faster! You can do homework there too!

Your sim has to do all their homework before their first class. Then after their first class, they will have more homework which has to be done before the class after that. Projects and papers have to be done hand handed in before the last class. Both require a first draft as well as a final draft. If your sim has a final exam, they have to study for at least two hours before the final exam. If you want a really good mark, they have to have the skill required for your degree maxed out.

I forgot to add - email professor about progress after your first class. That seems to help too. It's also best if you start a term on Friday so you can have plenty to time to get a head start on homework, papers, projects, and study time. I'm currently playing with a sim and making him get all the degrees available!

The Sims 4's High School Years expansion puts its primary focus on the academic lives of teenage Sims. These Sims' studies are not confined to school, though, as they will be instructed to do homework every day. Fortunately, it is quite simple to do homework in The Sims 4: High School Years, and this guide contains full details on how players should approach this task.

To note, homework is not a new addition in High School Years, and players that have had Sim children in the past are likely to have engaged with the feature before. That said, the expansion's emphasis on the activity will bring fans' attention to it, and some will want to make sure that they do it every day. It is indicated that homework does not have a huge impact on a Sim's academic success, though, and players should not be too concerned if they miss some study sessions here and there.

Players that are attempting to do homework in The Sims 4's High School Years expansion should look in the personal inventory of their teenage Sims. For full clarity, a Sim's personal inventory is visualized as a file box that appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen, and there will be a blue book within it. Fans should now simply select that book and click on the "do homework" button to cause the Sim to move to a table and begin their studies. 2ff7e9595c
